Chartwell Wescott is an upscale retirement community offering independent living and memory care services that reflects the growing, family-oriented neighbourhood we call home. Our convenient location in Ambleside, part of the Windermere area in south Edmonton, offers easy access to local amenities—from grocery stores, coffee shops, and golf courses to restaurants, shopping, and theatres. In addition to our independent living lifestyle, Chartwell Wescott is proud to offer a unique private-pay Memory Living program that empowers spouses with different care needs to continue living under one roof. It's a thoughtful, personalized approach to support that helps families stay connected—emotionally and physically—in a familiar and caring setting.

Where families come together

One of the many reasons our residents enjoy our attractive residential area is that their children and grandchildren call it home too. We’ve embraced our intergenerational neighbourhood by offering thoughtful on-site amenities that celebrate connection, including a kid’s zone for playtime with visiting grandchildren, a demonstration kitchen perfect for baking treasured family recipes together, and a private dining room ideal for birthdays and special family events.

Culture, convenience and leisure

Chartwell Wescott offers a wide range of boutique-style amenities and services—from an art studio and fitness classes to a dog wash spa and walking trails perfect for you and your pet. When you aren’t leafing through a book in our cozy lounge or getting your hair done in our salon, you may find yourself enjoying a delicious meal in the dining room or a cup of coffee in our bistro. We also offer social, leisure, and entertainment experiences that you can choose to participate in at will, all designed to help you live life your way, with freedom and flexibility at the heart of everything we do. Another unique aspect of life in our home? We offer chauffeur services in our luxury town car that you can book for appointments and shopping, as well as a grocery delivery service. Home care support is also available through Alberta Health Services.
